Went to Cape Cod on the 10th and 11th of March with members of the Boston Photography Center and we had a blast. Winter is the perfect time to visit the Cape. Try it and you'll see!
These photos were shot with a Kiev 60 medium format (120 format, 60x60mm frame) camera and 80mm Volna lens with the following expired slide film:
Fuji Velvia 50 iso (RVP) Fuji Provia 400 iso (RHPIII) Kodak Ektachrome Plus 100 iso (EPP) |
I found a dead bird and coyote (or dog?) on the beach in Wellfleet within a stone's throw of each other. Such a strange coincidence to find two dead animals in one place.
Cape Cod can be harsh in the winters.
These slides were definitely overexposed... I think it may have been because I thought the Ektachrome I was shooting was a slower speed than it was. It's also expired, but usually expired film does lose speed, so that can't be the reason. Probably user error! Luckily, the detail in the darker areas was retained pretty well, but the highlights are really blown out. |
I also shot a bunch of digital photos. If you want to see them, click here! |
